At White Winds Farm we teach Dressage, Cross Country Jumping, and
Stadium Jumping. Our lesson programs are set up to teach a
comprehensive curriculum that gives students all around knowledge of
the horse. Our goal is to create the future horseman not just
riders. From the beginning we emphasize safety of horse and
rider, how to handle horses in a safe and effective manner, and how
to care for your horse in the best way possible. Fun is our first
consideration.
Weekly Lessons:
Our once or twice a week lessons start beginner riders learning the basics of tacking and untacking, grooming a horse, cooling a horse down, and how to ride the horse to your greatest potential. For the more knowledgeable horseman, we help to develop your relationship with your horse to the fullest extent. Please call for pricing and scheduling.
Practice Rides:
Available to students only. Come on out and ride one of the school horses to practice what you have learned in your lessons.
Half Lease:
For the next step rider, this gives the opportunity for the experience of owning a horse, without all the price. Half lease a school horse to get in extra rides and be able to actively compete. Included is one lesson per week and 2 practice rides. Contact White Winds Farm if interested.
OUR PROGRAMS:
Full Training Program:
Available to students only. An intensive training program offered for students who would like to immerse themselves in riding. 2 lessons a week and 3 practice rides.
